Recipe Box
The old-fashioned recipe card still has passionate devotees. This simple looking box, constructed with saw-cut veneer, was a surprisingly complex build. The idea here was to make an end grain parquetry box, but join the end grain top to the face grain sides in such a way that it looks like the box was carved from a single block.
