Sewing Box

I have made several versions of this box over the years—the design is based on the box on the cover of the original edition of James Krenov's seminal book “A Cabinet Maker's Notebook.” This one is made of jatoba, a dense tropical hardwood and is made to hold sewing supplies. The interior tray is macadamia nut wood from Hawaii, the bottom is spruce.
